I would strongly encourage you to transition to a VideoXpert Management System to replace the DX hardware that you have. VX Pro may be a perfect software solution and replacement for the DX8100 hardware.
We have not had SDK support for DX in a few years now - the last toolkit is very outdated and I would not recommend using it for future sustainability. I would encourage you to instead investigate the possibility of replacing the DX8100 with a VX Pro system, and then use the VideoXpert SDK for use with that VMS platform.
Can I use this SDK to connect to this DVR (DX8100) and get the status of the channels? Or nothing of this SDK definitely works with this DVR
Sadly, no, the VideoXpert SDK will not be compatible with the DX8100, unfortunately. Sorry about that; it's too many years old and hasn't been worked on in a very long time.
